Since its inception in 2006, Gunnison Trails has worked hard maintaining our trails and building the foundation for new trail opportunities. Now we are working to take the next step to becoming an influential organization in the Upper Gunnison Valley. Along with ongoing education and trail maintenance programs and participating in the time consuming Travel Planning process with the BLM and Forest Service, Gunnison Trails is working toward 501c3 non-profit status (a federally recognized tax exempt organization). 501c3 status requires legally formed articles of incorporation, bylaws and a Board of Directors.Click here to learn how we can increase the effectiveness of Gunnison Trails.
